It protects both of us. * I promise to show up honest: about who I am, about what I want from this trip, and about whether it's still a go as we get closer. *

what to expect

The deal, straight.

18+ and solo applicants only

Open to everyone 18 or older. This is strictly 1:1 — you and Jon. No partners, no plus-ones.

Three video calls, no sales pitch

We meet, we talk, we get a feel for each other. Any of them can be a soft 'no thanks' from either side — no hard feelings.

A background check, your expense

Standard third-party screening for serious criminal history. Fast, straightforward, protects both of us.

All of Jon's expenses, both ways

Flights, lodging, meals, activities, visas, gear where applicable. You'll know the real number before anything is booked.

Your own travel insurance

Jon has his. You need yours — especially for anything adventurous. Non-negotiable.

A real commitment

Once you're both in, you're in. The only out is a genuine emergency. Jon holds himself to the same standard.

Tiny print. Submitting doesn't commit either of us to anything. It just opens the conversation. I'll reply either way — usually inside 7 days.
